We understand that living near major construction works can be a challenge at times. While construction is underway, it is our responsibility to help alleviate any unnecessary disruption to our neighbours and surrounding communities.
Measures we have put in place include:
· Using mains electricity to minimise the use of noise-producing generators
· All our vehicles and plant machinery meet the latest emission standards
· We have installed noise barriers on site to shield our communities from potentially noisy activities
· We are using mist canons and street sweepers to suppress and damp down any dust.
· We have also invested in remote access monitors that have been deployed across our sites to monitor construction noise and air quality to ensure the levels are kept within the agreed limits set by the local authority.
